More Medical Drama

We all know bad things never happen one at a time, usually three at a time. Just as Grandpa Bobby has fully recovered from his scare with severe rhabdomyolysis, there has been ongoing drama with the other grandparents. Grandpa Bob, who had a heart attack like 20 years ago, had a recent scare and underwent another catheterization and stent placement. But, I talked to him today, and he's been out cutting the grass in preparation for the family Memorial Day cookout/campout at the lake, no chest pains and no shortness of breath!

So here's hoping for another good outcome... Grandma Shirley is undergoing a big surgery tomorrow to remove a large melanoma from her scalp. Please send some prayers her way to help her get through the procedure, the recovery, and the watchful waiting. Thats a term we use at work when we are very afraid that there will be more cancer one day. But if cancer can be scared off, evil-eyed Grandma can do it! And if evil-eyes aren't enough, baby snuggles and red-headed toddler kisses can do it! We love you Grandma and we'll help you and Bobby get through this! Hang in there and we'll go hat shopping soon!

Other updates to come soon....
