Grand Teton Photos from our summer adventure

Grand Teton National Park is in the Rocky Mountains of Northwest Wyoming. It is named after the majestic Grand Teton mountain peak 13,770 feet high in the definitive Teton Range. There are eight other high and jagged peaks making up the park's skyline.

We spent a morning at Teton Village in Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, exploring what the Resort has to offer in summertime. We rode the aerial tram to the "top of the world" on Rendezvous Mountain and enjoyed the breathtaking views, while trying to keep the boys from jumping off the sides of the summit! Connor wanted to throw rocks off the mountain and Mannix wanted to eat them... until he got distracted by the paragliders. Mannix was just starting to use a few words- his favorite on our trip was MORE... as we watched glider after glider prepare and run off the mountain, Mannix would get excited and say more! I'm sure he would have jumped off with someone if we had let him!

To celebrate Grandpa Bob's 75th birthday, we threw a surprise birthday party- and boy what a surprise! We picked a theme- PIRATES- just for fun and decorate Mary's house, parked around the corner and waited for the guest of honor! He was so surprised after thinking everyone had forgotten his birthday! After a great evening of fun, food, and photos, Grandpa Bob said it was the highlight of his life. Who could ask for more?

It was such a surprising, fun and festive gathering of family & friends for Bob...he was truly overwhelmed with all the whoopla of The Event. It meant a lot to be lavished with your attention and ceremony on his special day (especially when y'all were so successful at catching him off guard!) All the planning, preparation, decorations, dinner, multi-media album, gifts and cards were so very much appreciated. Bob and I will always remember how Supremely Special you made his 75th Birthday!... and the memories of it will always be heart-warming!

Mannix's 2 year Photo Shoot

We have been taking the boys for photos every six months since Connor was a baby- always an adventure! We try to go first thing in the morning before it gets too crazy at the studio and before the boys get too cranky/hungry/sleepy...whatever their excuse for being uncooperative at the time is. We go armed with snacks, drinks, diapers, and try to make it quick. Today, Mannix was less than eager to smile for the camera, but cheered up when they brought someone else in to help by blowing bubbles! We'll have to remember that trick in the future... but hopefully he'll outgrow the bashfulness, just like Connor did. Somehow, there were a bunch of cute ones to choose from! Here are some of my favorites!




















Will try to post pictures from the last few months to fill in the gaps soon... We are busy preparing for next arrival- Baby girl O'Neill's birthday is set for March 24th unless she has other ideas!
