Maternity Shoot- Phreckles Photography

For fun, I signed up for a maternity photo shoot to see what a professional could do with this huge belly. Last weekend, Marie Cox from Phreckles Photography in Raleigh came out to the house, braved the animals, and took some photos of Scott and I and lots of pictures of the baby to be! It was a fun experience and we were so tickled with how the photos came out. Marie will also take newborn pictures of our little boy when he is two weeks old! One day she may use some of the pictures from our photo shoot in her maternity portfolio...My belly is out there for the world to see!!

Belly Pictures- No Laughing!!!

As promised, the amazing expanding belly! Warning- You are about to see ALOT of belly! And its only getting bigger by the second! We have been amazed not only by the steady growth, the changing of the belly button, and the tightness of the belly, but most recently by the life it has taken on. There is movement at random moments and movement in response to our poking and proding. I can't resist trying to "wake him up" to see how much he'll move around. I realize soon I'll be praying for him to sleep more and to be more still, but for now I can't resist any signs of life and activity! Pregnancy has been an amazing process and we can't wait to see what happens in the next couple of months as we get closer to the big day!

Ultrasound Pictures

Hi everyone! As the pregnant belly gets bigger and bigger, its hard to remember how things started out months ago. We waited patiently for there to be obvious signs of the pregnancy and it seemed like months before I started to show. Nows there's no slowing it down...everyday the belly seems bigger and stretched to the max. Its hard to imagine that it can possibly get any bigger, but we know it must as there are still months to go. The innie belly button is already an outtie! Stay turned for some belly shots at the next update!
