As Promised

Here are the few photos I picked from the mall trip from hell last month. Weeks later, the pictures seem cuter than they did at the time. Here were my favorites. Hard to tell from the pictures that the boys took turns crying and acting up for three hours straight! Luckily, there have been no repeat episodes like that afternoon!

I start my third week back at work tomorrow- as quickly as time on maternity leave flew by, time is speeding up even more. The week is full of juggling schedules with Scott's travel, planning with the grandparents, and planning for the weekend. The weekends are precious family time, full of activites (some fun, some necessary, and most a mixture of both). Connor loves to keep us company with any activity and best of all loves running around the yard. We love that he can safely roam the yard while we are outside, without fear of roaming too far or traffic. He is also very good at entertaining himself- this weekend he worked on learning to ride his tricycle. He also spent some more time bouncing with his friends Elise and Scarlett in the bounce house at the Yorkery's! He's growing up so fast!!

Mannix continues to work on getting on a good schedule, but no good routine yet. He's doing very well at night, wakes up about every 5 hours to eat. Since going back to work, I haven't been good about putting him back in the bassinet after his middle of the night feeding...I need to work on that so we can then start trying to have him sleep in his crib. He's having less crying spells, or else we've just gotten more used to it. And when he's happy, he's very talkative and smiley! I finally got to take a little nap snuggling with him today (only 30 minutes or less)...I miss those snuggly baby naps that I got so often with Connor!

Congratulations to our friends Sterling and Paul Ingui on the birth of their first child, Parker John Ingui, born on April 10th!
