Matthew came over to visit- there were a few smiles, a snack, and Connor trying to pet Matthew like he was another one of our pets:)
On a surprisingly warm Sunday in early February, we met Elise and her parents at the Museum of Life and Science. Connor had never been there before, so it was the start of a big adventure, as I'm sure there will be many more visits in the future. We played in the children's play room and then walked around outside. His favorite part seemed to be the animals, especially the black bear that was strutting around closely!
Connor and Elise hit it off (again) and kept trying to hold hands when their strollers were close together. Elise is turning ONE in just a couple of weeks. Unfortunately we will miss her barnyard birthday party, but will get to celebrate with her soon after! It's been so good for Connor to be around kids just a bit older than him... helps teach him new skills and adventures!
Connor has been pulling up on furniture every chance he gets and loves standing. He is also just starting to actually crawl. After a few inches of true crawling, he drops back onto his belly and continues with his military crawl. He is so happy to be roaming around and exploring! We are still working on baby proofing... In the meanwhile, we just try to keep him entertained and distracted!
For this years Superbowl, we went to Jen and Mike Streicker's as usual, for good company, food, big screen, and turtle watching. This year was even more festive with the recent news of their pregnancy with TWINS! We are so excited for them and wish them the best during this exciting time...we can't wait to hear the sex of the twins!
